Vou descrever em uma palavra a experiência da visita ao hospital hoje: Impressionante!
Conhecemos alguns dos varios departamentos hoje, algumas apresentações entre elas a do senhor C.V. Shivatsan, CEO do Hospital em Coimbatore.
Aprendi que nesta fase temos que mostrar ao cliente o que encontramos de relevante nas entrevistas, além das oportunidades de melhorias, desafios e recomendação de como tratar o tema. O objetivo é validar com o cliente o que encontramos de informação e também alinhar nossas recomendações com as expectativas deles. Para o projeto CSC da IBM, foram divididos 04 grupos, em cidades diferentes, atendendo instituições locais em projetos diferentes. Abaixo algumas informações relevantes a respeito do projeto Sankara onde atuo como Gerente de Projeto.

I'll describe in a word the experience of the visit to the hospital today: breathtaking!
We met some of the areas today, some presentations including Mr C.V. WEDGWOOD Shivatsan, CEO of the Hospital inCoimbatore .
I learned that at this stage we have to show the client that's what we found relevant in the interviews, in addition to the opportunities for improvements, challenges and recommend how to handle the issue. The purpose is to validate customer information and that's what we found also align our recommendations with expectations of them. For the project, IBM, have been split 04 groups, in different cities, in view of local institutions in different projects.
Below some relevant information about Sankara project where I am performing as project manager.

To work towards the eradication of preventable and curable blindness by providing unmatched eye care through a strong serviced oriented team.
Brief History Sankara Eye Care Institutions (Sankara) is among the largest and the fastest growing Community Eye Care institutions inIndia (and the world). The Institutions provide comprehensive FREE eye care to the RURAL POOR throughout India .
Sankara’s Vision 20/20 by 2020 program aims to set up 20 eye care hospitals acrossIndia by the year 2020, in order to serve over 2 million rural poor for the years to come.
Sankara today operates 8 Specialty Eye Care Hospitals inCoimbatore , Krishnankovil, Guntur , Silvassa, Bangalore , Shimoga, Anand, Rishikesh. Three additional hospitals in Punjab , Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are planned to be operational by 2014.
Performance Highlights:
• 11,718 outreach camps conducted
• 745,508 free vision restoring surgeries performed
• 3,524,419 children between the ages of new born to 18 years screened for eye care ailments
• 2, 072, 714 men and women screened for eye ailments
• Surgical success rate of 98.8% when compared with the World Health Organization’s guidelines of a minimum of 90% success rate

Compassionate High Quality Care – State of the art medical methods delivered with devotion
Comprehensive Eye Care Services – covering preventive, curative, and rehabilitative
Innovation and Continuous Improvement – in programs, medical methods, and processes
National Footprint – New Sankara Hospitals covering more states acrossIndia
Financial Self Sufficiency – Every new hospital to be self sufficient in 5 years or less
Sankara’s model for community eye care is rooted in ‘rural outreach’. Every weekend a team of doctors and paramedical staff travel to rural areas (as far as 400 kms from the base hospital) and conduct eye screening camps to identify people in need of eye treatment and attention. Those identified are brought to the base hospital and given accommodation, food, medicines, surgery and treatment.

b. Framework, design and specifications of the Knowledge Management System along with any IT recommendations that are based on any constraints
c. Next Steps with recommendations
d. Detailed implementation plan and work plan with assigned tasks to start implementation and
3. Active training on work plan and tasks to Sankara management and staff
4. Presentation toSankara Eye Hospital on written report
