Não foi à toa que "Slumdog Milionaire - Quem quer ser um milionário" foi filmado aqui em Mumbai é simplesmente inacreditável. Em todos os sentidos: bons e ruins. Em Coimbatore como na maioria das cidades da Índia, o calor e a umidade são quase insuportáveis cheia de contrastes. Muitos dos "pré-conceitos" que podemos ter sobre a India estão aqui, com certeza.
Percebe-se logo que o crescimento foi rápido demais e, portanto, absolutamente nada planejado. Favelas bem igual ao que vimos no filme. Casas sem banheiro, cubiculos divididos por famílias inteiras, lixo pelas ruas, falta de regras entre as faixas... Buzinas tocam o tempo todo, os motoristas gritam, quase não existem sinais nas ruas.
Se nós brasileiros achamos o trânsito problemático numa cidade como São Paulo, o engarrafamento aqui é um caos, ninguém respeita as leis de trânsito. Aqui parece não haver sinalização e todo mundo tem a vez ao mesmo tempo, ninguém tem preferência e o caos se instala na perfeita harmonia, é incrível!!!

Houses without bathroom, tiny cell divided families entire, garbage in the streets, lack of rules between lanes ... Horns play all the time, drivers shout, there are almost no signs on the streets.

No wonder "Slumdog Milionaire-who wants to be a millionaire " was filmed here in Mumbai it's simply unbelievable. In all directions: good and bad. In Coimbatore as in most of the cities of India, the heat and humidity are almost impossibly full of contrasts. Many of the "Pré-conceitos" that you can have on India are here, of course.

If we find the Brazilian traffic problem in a town such as Sao Paulo, the traffic here is a chaos, no one respect the laws of transit. Here there seems to be no signalling and everybody has the time to the same time, no one takes precedence and chaos to settle down in perfect harmony, it's amazing ! !
Nevertheless...even in absolute poverty, you don't see street kids stealing and feels safe walking on streets.
